Our Story
Phi Beauty Spa was founded by Genny and Effi with a shared passion for artistry, precision, and client-centered beauty. What began as a commitment to mastering their craft has grown into a trusted space where clients receive high-quality, personalized treatments in a welcoming environment. Built through dedication, continuous education, and hard work, Phi Beauty Spa is driven by one simple goal: to help every client feel confident, cared for, and beautiful.
Effi
My journey began with a Master’s degree in Accounting in 2012, but my true passion led me into the world of beauty. In 2016, I became a licensed esthetician in Istanbul, specializing in microneedling, facials, and laser treatments.
In 2017, I earned my Microblading certification in Dubai, where I worked with many clients — including Turkish singer Günel (@gunelzeynalovaofficial)— and soon realized that Permanent Makeup was my calling.
By 2022, I advanced my career with PhiBrows, Lip Blush, and Eyeliner Tattoo certifications under Master Hany at Nano Brows Academy, and began hosting professional workshops across Turkey.
In 2023, I moved to Florida, met Genny, and together we founded Phi Beauty Spa — a studio built on passion, artistry, and precision, bringing European PMU standards to Jacksonville.
Genny
Hi, I’m Genny, a licensed Permanent Makeup (PMU) Artist specializing in ombré brows, microblading, nano brows, and combo brows. I began my PMU journey in 2022! As one of the owners of Phi Beauty Spa, combined training from Phibrows Academy and Brows By Linnie with an Aveda esthetician license since 2023, I am dedicated to ongoing professional growth!
My first experience as an educator was teaching a brow mapping class at the AVEDA Institute and that’s when I realized how much I love to teach. Since then, I’ve been actively training students right here in Jacksonville, FL, and even flew to Celina, Ohio to train a student in Ombré brows. Educating others has truly become a passion, and eventually, I hope to become a full-time educator in this incredible field.
My first PMU course was in Atlanta, Georgia with Gabriela Addie, Master from PhiBrows Academy the top microblading academy in the world. I continued my advanced training in Anaheim, Orange County, California with Linnie Phan (@BrowsByLinnie) to master Ombré brows, Microshading & Nano-strokes training.
I recently attended the biggest permanent makeup conference in the world, PMU WORLD 2025 in September, where I learned so many different techniques and practices from my top inspiration artists like Thi Ngo, Kristina Melniceno , Julie Kim Tahmina Sarwari, and many more!
My next favorite thing? Facial massage. I focus on pressure points, sculpting, and uplifting techniques. My deep tissue style is something I’ve crafted to be uniquely my own here in Jacksonville it’s therapeutic, uplifting, and designed to release tension and anxiety. I’m also a Clarity RX master and Dermalogica Expert Esthetician.
I’ve spent most of my life in Jacksonville, FL, and some in Irvine, Orange County, CA, so I consider both places home! pour my heart into every service to help clients feel their absolute best. Reflecting on my journey, I’ve gained extremely valuable insight and find it so rewarding. Each day, I cherish the chance to make clients feel valued and welcome, treating them with the care I would my own family. Your belief in me drives my passion of creating moments of transformation and confidence. Thank you for being a part of this extraordinary journey. Hi, I’m Meribeth! I proudly represent the beautiful and diverse culture of Panama, and I’m fluent in both English and Spanish. With over six years of experience as a waxing specialist, I’ve developed a true passion for helping people feel confident and comfortable in their skin. From hard wax to soft wax, sugaring, facials to vajacials—if it involves self-care and private parts, I’ve got you covered! I also teach sugaring and waxing training courses!
I treat every service with precision, care, and a little bit of fun. I’m known for making everyone feel comfortable, no matter what service they come in for. My clients know me as someone who’s not only knowledgeable and skilled but also charismatic and deeply attentive to their needs. I believe self-care should be enjoyable, empowering, and never awkward. As your esthetician, I’ll make sure you feel relaxed, respected, and maybe even laugh a little along the way!
